Item Description

Strike-a-light bag from the Great Plains region that features lazy stitch/lane stitch beadwork with geometric designs on very thick latigo leather and buckin leather fringe with cowrie shell adornments. Bead colors include: white, blue, green, red white-heart beads, steel-cut beads, and pumpkin orange. The bag is very delicate and is in need of conservation. The flap that was originally attached to the top of the bag has fully seperated from the bag, and several beads are loose.
